COVID-19 Updates

12/11/21- Patrol operations:
• Life Saving Club & State Service patrol season commences as of Saturday, 13 November 2021.
Patrols are to be conducted in accordance with LSV Scenario B as per the LSV COVIDSafe Plan.

12/11/21- Community sport:

• Competition and training indoors and outdoors permitted.

-LSV is current working through the details regarding competition in the context of lifesaving; Further information to be provided.

• Based on CHO ‘outdoor physical recreation facilities’:

-permitted indoors (DQ 1 per 4 sqm) or outdoors (DQ 1 per 2 sqm)

-up to 500 patrons’ total outdoors, with recommended groups of 30 (as per CHO directions on outdoor personal training).

-minimum number required to complete activity only e.g., athletes, coaches and water safety, should be in attendance.

-Spectators are permitted, within the public gathering limits (30 persons)
